She was born on August 29, 1929, in Torrington, Connecticut.
She attended CCSC Central Connecticut State College with a degree in Business Education where she met her husband Eugene James Moye. They married on March 17, 1951 and had a wonderful marriage.
As well as raising their 4 children She was known for her participation in the NAACP, Scholarship organizations, friends of Cos Cob library and worked for many years at the Greenwich Housing Authority.
She had a passion for reading, and travel with her husband.
She is survived by their 4 children; son Eugene Moye Jr., daughters Neria Moye, Susan Moye, and Dee Moye Hoban; 5 grandchildren Camilla, Sean, Amir, Eugene and Ryan and 7 great grandchildren.
The service will be held at 11am, Friday October 23, 2026 at Leo P Gallagher and Sons Funeral Home, 31 Arch St, Greenwich, CT, private burial at Putnam cemetery.
