Joan Frances Mancusi

Born in Greenwich, Connecticut, to Nicholas and Frances Molinari, Joan was a kind, thoughtful, loving, and remarkably strong woman whose greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends. She delighted in her soap operas, Hallmark Christmas movies, and a good Netflix series and was an avid reader, finding comfort and enjoyment in the stories she followed. Her faith was central to her life, and she could reliably be found at the 4:00 p.m. Saturday Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Byram. Joan faced physical adversity with dignity and grace, refusing to let it keep her from taking part in the rhythms of daily life. Guided by an unshakable trust in God, she met each day with courage, gratitude, and a positive spirit.

Joan was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Joseph, throughout their 54 years of marriage. Over the past four years, she cared for him with steadfast tenderness and dedication, reflecting the deep commitment that defined their life together.

For 48 years, Joan was a kind, patient, supportive, and loving mother to her son, Robert. Her steady presence, encouragement, and devotion were enduring expressions of the love she held for him.

To her sister, Kathleen, Joan was supportive, loyal, and ever-present. Their bond was marked by constancy and care, and Kathleen could always count on Joan's companionship and unwavering support.

Joan was also a trustworthy and cherished friend to many. She offered kindness, loyalty, and a listening ear, leaving those who knew her with lasting memories of her warmth and generosity of spirit.

She is survived by her husband Joseph, son Robert, and sister Kathleen. Along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father Nicholas and mother Frances.

Visitation will be held at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich, CT 068306512, US, on October 4, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Sacred Heart Parish, 38 Gold St, Greenwich, CT 06830, US, on October 5, 2026, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery on North Street in Greenwich.
