Mr. John C. “Jack” Halpin, 78, Sarasota, FL, formerly of Greenwich, CT, died January 12, 2012. Mr. Halpin was a former VP and Chief Information Officer for the American Cancer Society and lecturer at Iona College. He was known among family and friends for his personality, wit and sense of humor.
Survivors include his loving partner Elaine Marquard; Aunt and Uncle Ruth and William Kennedy; sister in law Bernadette Bogil; cousins Patricia, William, Robert, Chris and Kevin Kennedy and Colleen Welch; and nephews Thomas and Michael Bogil.
Visitation to be held at Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch St, Greenwich, CT 06830, on Thursday, January 26 from 4 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 27 at St. Mary’s RC Church 178 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich, CT 06830 at 10:30 am.
