Ingallinera, John Paul of Greenwich, Connecticut – Loved beyond words by family, friends and colleagues, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Ingallinera was born on January 14, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1983 from the University of Notre Dame where he met his wife, Jennifer. Mr. Ingallinera attended the University of Chicago and received a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance in 1985. He began his career on Wall Street at Salomon Brothers as a high yield trader. During his career, he led the high yield trading desks at Kidder Peabody and Lehman Brothers. In 2003, Mr. Ingallinera joined Muzinich and Company where he served until recently as the Senior Portfolio Manager. He exemplified the highest moral and ethical values at work and was loved and respected by all who knew him. Mr. Ingallinera, a devoted husband and father cherished the time that he spent with his family. John is survived by his by his beloved wife, Jennifer; two children, James, 21 and Peter, 17; mother, Lucretia Ingallinera of Staten Island, New York; sisters Diana Faillace and husband Philip of Surrey, England; Laura Cody and husband William of Wilton, Connecticut and GerriAnn Gillette and husband William of Staten Island, New York; father in-law, Alfred Mansour of Flint, Michigan; brother-in-law Alfred Mansour and wife Mary Jo of Grand Blanc, Michigan; nephews William and Thomas Cody, Anthony and Daniel Gillette and Justin Faillace; nieces, Lauren Cody, Hailley and Shannon Gillette, Marissa Faillace and Alexandra, Caroline, Elizabeth, Katherine and Julia Mansour. He was predeceased by his father, Rosario Ingallinera and mother-in-law, Beverly Mansour. John, a devout Catholic sought to live his life according to teachings of Christ. He was the light of his family and a blessing to all who knew him. Calling hours will be held at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 31 Arch St Greenwich from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 469 North Street, Greenwich, Connecticut on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s / Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s memory to Catholic Outreach, P.O. Box 815, Flint, Michigan, 48501. Catholic Outreach serves the poor and destitute in Genesee County and transports seriously ill children for specialized medical care.
