Looking back to my years at All Brand, I realize what a giant of a family man Joe was - to everyone. I was privileged to have worked with him. May his memory be a blessing

Loved coming over to the Tighe home in Larchmont as an SJP kid. Always looked forward to the Nilla Wafers Joe (Jr.). I was fond of your Dad because of his presence and his positive interactions and demeanor. I would have attended the funeral, but I found out that morning from my sister Marion who is an active IONA alum. You guys were in my prayers at Mass on Sunday--Joe--if you get a chance so we can connect, here is my email: bdavidson0267@bcsdny.org

To the entire Tighe clan...you are a incredible legacy from this amazing patriarch. Thing of each of you and wishing you many happy memories to keep this wonderful man alive in your hearts forever. w/lots of love and hugs, Nancy

Love to all the Tighes. I will always remember Mr. and Mrs. Tighe together at the pool, on the terrace eating lunch or dinner, in the golf shop or on a golf cart at Winged Foot. They were ALWAYS together. He will be missed by all. Love to all of the Tighes. xo Ali Christie Roby

All of the Tighe family are in my thoughts this week. Rest in Peace Joe

Love to all the Tighe's from the Cremona's. Such fond memories of the Larchmont days and the good times spent at your childhood home.

What a beautiful mark he has left with all of you and who you have become. We are so sorry for your loss.

Uncle Joe will always be remembered for his truly gifted enthusiasm which inspired us all to reach beyond what we thought of ourselves, he always knew options we had not yet considered. He was always quick to see the potential in everyone and everything, and all who knew him benefited from his warmth. His family is in our prayers with loving kindness.

I watched you play basketball for Iona College during the 1958-1959 season. That was a long time ago. You played with George Carter and Jim Razor. Those were the days of O'Connell Gym with Iona Prep right next door in what is now Hagan Hall. I also saw you at some Pop Warner football games when I was a referee many years ago. I didn't know that you were a member of Winged Foot. Rest in peace.

Joe was a mentor to me during and after my Iona days. A tough guy with a heart of gold. I will miss the big redhead.

My prayers are with you all during such a difficult time.
Joe will always be remembered as the big guy with a big heart who was fiercely proud of his family. He will certainly be missed on this earth, but he is surely being greeted by handshakes and warm hugs where he is now. Heaven just got a heck of a lot more fun.
Love and blessings to you all.

Sincere condolences are extended to your family at this time. May God lovingly care for each of you in the days ahead. (1 Pet. 5:7)

Sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a great guy and will be missed.

I fondly remember visits from Uncle Joe because he was always so kind and how much my mother, Rose Tighe De Lotto, loved her cousin Joe. He will be sorely missed by many.
Sincerely,

We were deeply saddened to hear about Joe. We chuckled thinking about the time you both came to dinner so many years ago and all of the "fun" we had.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
