Raymond Eric Nadeau, a cherished member of the Riverside, CT community, passed away on November 9th, 2023, at the age of 69. Born in Montreal, QC, he was the beloved son of Renaud Nadeau and Joyce Williams Nadeau.
Raymond's journey through life was marked by dedication and accomplishment. He earned his degree in business management from Concordia University, laying the foundation for a remarkable career. At the young age of 22, he embarked on a professional journey with Cadbury Schweppes, setting the stage for a lifelong commitment to excellence. Over the years, Raymond ventured into various industries, leaving his mark at companies such as Star Kiss Tuna, Vachon, and Canadelle, a division of Sara Lee Corporation.
Sara Lee took Raymond and his family across the globe, from Sydney, Australia, to the United States. However, it was his entrepreneurial spirit that led him to establish White Space Marketing, a consulting business that he passionately nurtured until his well-deserved retirement.
Beyond the boardroom, Raymond found joy in the simplicity of life. An avid outdoorsman, he reveled in the winter months, where skiing became not just a pastime but a passion. His love for travel enriched his life experiences, and he was a fervent supporter of the Montreal Canadiens. Yet, his greatest joy came from the time spent with those he held dear.
Raymond is survived by his devoted spouse, Lorraine Nadeau, his daughter Melanie and her husband Matt Backs, his son Justin Nadeau, and his two cherished grandchildren, Mirabelle and Leo Backs. Sadly, he was predeceased by his son Eric Raymond Nadeau.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Leo P Gallagher and Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich, CT 06830.
