Richard Clinton Bellinger

Rick is survived by two children: Rick Bellinger Jr of Denver, CO, and Kimberly Bellinger, of New York City.

Rick was born on July 2nd, 1950 and was grew up in Creskill, NJ and raised his children in Greenwich, CT. Professionally, Rick reached the level of Senior Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and was a legendary municipal bond broker with integrity. For those who had the pleasure of getting to know him, he was kind and caring. Rick loved backgammon, train collecting, poolside lounging, fireworks, eating for reasons other than hunger, and was like a long-lost Wright Brother when it came to flying kites. Rick’s infamy for bankrupting buffets is only trumped by the legacy of his generous spirit. Rick’s friends, family, and co-workers, universally remember his magnanimous personality. Rick was a thoughtful man that selflessly helped those around him often at his own expense.

Please join us in celebrating Rick’s life; his wake is scheduled for 4:00pm on Friday, September 18th at Gallagher Funeral Home in Greenwich, CT. The service will take place at Saint Mary’s Church in Greenwich on Saturday, September 19th at 10:00am, followed immediately by burial service at Putnam Cemetery.
