Rocchina Ambrose, 68 of Stamford passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness on Sunday March 1st 2026. She is survived by her brother Anthony Ambrose of Greenwich and her sister Bernice Ambrogio of South Carolina , one niece, two nephews and two great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carmela and John Ambrose. Rocchina was raised in Greenwich and lived most of her adult life in Stamford.
She lived a full and rewarding life as part of the Abilis community.
Rocchina journeyed through life with kindness, determination and a love for those around her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered especially for her keen sense of humor.
A memorial service and christian burial will be held from 9:30 to 11 AM on Monday, March 9th at Leo P Gallagher, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich Ct. with interment to follow at St. Mary/Putnam Cemetery, in Greenwich, Ct.
