

Vincent graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School in Elmsford NY in 1951. Upon graduation Vincent joined the United States Air Force and served as an Air Policeman from July 1951-July 1955 during the Korean War.
Vincent worked for Westchester County for 35 years. He started out as an investigator and enforcement officer for the Dept. of Probation and moved up to probation assistant for the Dept. of Social Services. In 1986 he joined the Westchester County Veterans Service Agency where he was a program administrator and counselor as well as Acting Director before his retirement in 2000.
Vincent was well respected in his community and a member of many organizations such as the White Plains Lions Club where he was a member of the Board of Directors as well as a Past President. He was Vice President of Operations for the Air Force Security Police Association chapter #251 West Point. He was a Service Officer for the American Legion Post #93 Port Chester NY and served on the Board of Ethics for Port Chester as well.
Vincent loved doing things with his family such as going to Yankees games, fishing, movies, 4th of July picnics, going out to dinner & brunches. His granddaughter’s favorite thing was when he took the family for brunches at the West Point Officer’s Club overlooking the Hudson River.
Vincent is survived by his son Victor DeMarr (wife Janine), his cherished granddaughter Samantha DeMarr and his sister Evangeline De Marr.
Vincent will be laid to rest in Kensico Cemetary in Valhalla NY.
