Athena Marie Cook, 65, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was employed by Farmers Bank.

She is survived by one son, Calvin Cook and wife, Karen; her mother, Ada Faye Pearcy; step-mother, Linda Kay Fletcher; two brothers, Cliff Pearcy and wife, Detra and Billy Pearcy; one sister, Gina Pearcy and two grandchildren, Hannah Madison and husband, Andrew and Wayne Cook. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Laverne Pearcy.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 13 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Liberty Cemetery. Viewing will be Monday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
