Audrey S. Burns, 97, of Hartford, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026 in her home. She was born December 10, 1928 in Hartford, Arkansas. She was a retired pilot and ground instructor for Flight Training in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was of the Pentecostal faith and member of the Healing Place Church. Audrey was loved by so many people. She loved to sing and write songs.
She is survived by her sister, Wanda Moore and husband, Don of Fort Smith and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Key Burns; one son, Bill L. Burns; her mother, Della Brassfield; maternal grandparents, Susie and Andrew Shirley; two brothers, Delbert Brassfield and Leon Brassfield and two sisters, Marticia Pitchford and Patricia Steele.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, January 29 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Hartford Memorial Park. Viewing will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday before the service.
Pallbearers will be Brooks Moore, Aaron See, Blaze Moore, Brighten Moore, Sammy Kazy and Jaxxon Zuck.
