Ava Nell Mannon

Ava Nell Mannon, 85, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in Mena, Arkansas. She was retired from Mansfield Public School, attended Mansfield First United Methodist Church and the widow of Bermond Mannon.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday, February 5 at Coop Prairie Church with burial at Coop Prairie Cemetery in Mansfield under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 2 – 4 p.m.

She is survived by three sons, Joe Mannon of Mena, Pat Mannon of Huntsville and Neal Mannon of Charleston; one brother, Farris Blythe of Abbott; two sisters, Dean Lowe of Mansfield and Darlene Boyd of Mansfield; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Phil Lowe, Kevin Boyd, Sheldon Boyd, Shannon Boyd, Jim Jeffery and Donnie Williams. Honorary pallbearer is Shawn Mannon.
