Gary and I have been separated for a while, and I have just learned today of the passing of Aunt Betty. I will always remember meeting her and Uncle Jack for the first time. They were both so sweet and welcoming. They shared many family stories and I soon realized that they were very down to earth and that family was very important to them. Over the years we traveled from Texas to Arkansas many times and enjoyed spending time with them and all the extended family of both Gary’s parents. I fondly remember how wonderful it was to see Aunt Betty and enjoy her company. She always had a beautiful smile and was so happy to open her home to us. I know she is with Uncle Jack and that they are sharing eternity together. Mark, Randy, and Lisa I pray that you are comforted by all the great memories created by your parents. Rest in peace Aunt Betty and God Bless all those special family member she loved so much. She was so proud of all of you.

Aunt Betty was always so special to all of us cousins and everyone in her family.

She had many gifts to offer including laughter, love, caring, sharing of recipes, quilting and preparing food for any person in need.

She and all the sisters made quilts for their families. The quilt frame was up in their home. Much joy, laughter, special treats were to be had by all the quilters.

She will be with the love of her life and all family members that have passed before her. What laughter and joy that will be.

Lisa, Mark and Randy what a treasure you all were blessed with and what treasures you were to your Mother. She would call so excited to tell us when you were coming home and share pictures of all you Grandchildren too. You all filled her with such joy.

Take care and love you all. Brenda

Aunt Betty was so precious to us! We were always welcome in her home & she was cooking supper one night for some company & took the time to show me how to make her flat enchiladas! So good! She was a wonderful woman & she will be so missed!

I will always remember the twinkle in Aunt Betty's eyes when I would ask her about something Uncle Jack was doing or involved in. She would get this knowing look on her face, smile and say, "well Gary, you know your Uncle Jack" or "well Gary, that's your Uncle Jack". They were true soulmates. I truly believe she is now back with her husband and that they belong together for eternity.

I have fond memories of our visits to Greenwood to see my Dad's brother, Uncle Jack and Aunt Betty. Aunt Betty was always so kind, gracious and caring. I was a young girl and she always made me feel like one of her own. She will always have a special place in my heart. I wish peace for Randy, Mark and Lisa as they deal with the physical loss of their mother. They now have a special angel looking down on them wishing only the best for them. Blessings to them and the extended family.

Betty was always the most precious lady. She dressed and carried herself like a lady. She was always very friendly to me and always ask me how I was doing and how my health was. I loved her.
