She is survived by her husband, John; two sons, Richard Risner of Huntington and David Risner of Fort Smith; one daughter, Judy Parson of Fort Smith; one sister, Mae McKee of Fort Smith; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral service will be 10 am Monday, October 31, 2011 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 9 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 3 – 5 pm.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Parson, Cameron Parson, Rusty Risner, Jeremy Risner, Marcus Risner and Harold Carter.
