Bill Williams, 84, of Midland, died Monday, March 24, 2014 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was retired from Pacific Gas and Electric, a veteran of the U.S Army and the Korean War, and a member of the Midland First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorris Williams and a son, Dana P. Williams.
He is survived by two daughters, Starr Williams of San Jose, California and Terri Brogdon of Claremore, Oklahoma; one sister, Della Dodson of Camarillo, California; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at the Midland First Baptist Church with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Friday 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8p.m.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Brogdon, Andy Brogdon, Zack Brown, Quinton Merton, Vernon Merton, and Don Hinton.
