

Blanche Evelyn Pryor, 89, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Greenwood, Arkansas. She was a retired teacher and office worker for the Greenwood Public Schools, member of Greenwood Church of Christ and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Pryor; three brothers, Harold, Wayne and Luther Oliver and two sisters, Margie Cowan and Ruth Carmack.
Funeral service will be 10 am Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Greenwood Church of Christ with burial at Old Jenny Lind Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Monday from 1 – 9 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 pm.
She is survived by four daughters, Linda Durham and husband, Charles of Charleston, Brenda Pryor of Greenwood, Jane Pryor of Fort Smith and Beth Bennett and husband, Tommy of Spearsville, LA; three sisters, Wilda Jones of Obetz, OH, Betty Kersey and Joy Edwards both of Greenwood; four granddaughters, Cindy Humphrey, Carolyn Swanson, Evelyn Bennett and Michaela Bennett and four great grandchildren, Perry Humphrey and Lee, Zeke and Ruby Swanson.
