Bobby Lee Harkreader

Bobby Lee Harkreader, 90, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026 in Fort Smith. Bobby was born August 6, 1936 in Excelsior, Arkansas to Oscar and Eunice (Gordon) Harkreader. He was retired from Riggs Caterpillar in Fort Smith and member of Faith Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Harkreader and wife, Brenda and Ed Harkreader and wife, Diane; one brother, Damon Harkreader; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Harkreader and three brothers, Gordon, Jerry and John Tom Harkreader.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 2 at Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind with burial at Evans Cemetery in Excelsior under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Larimer, Auburn Jones, Johnny Cabe, Shannon Cox, John Harkreader and Grant Harkreader.
