Brecken Victoria Cook entered into the arms of her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 11, 2021. She is seeing wonders and sights and experiencing a love we here on Earth cannot even comprehend. She knows no suffering or heartache like we do. She is full of joy and peace and is in absolute awe of God’s presence, God in His mercy and grace called her to saving faith when she was 9 years old on an Easter Sunday. From that moment on, she had eternal hope. Brecken was a fun, beautiful, spirited and fearless woman. Our girl loved big and was big hearted. To know Brecken was to love her. Her captivating smile and bubbly personality lit up any space she was in. She had a quirky, goofy, hilarious sense of humor. She loved to joke and laugh, especially with her Daddy. She loved to drag race and this past year has probably been the happiest one she lived. You won the ultimate race baby girl. She loved ministering to children, and serving on mission at Street Reach in Memphis. God gave her a heart for kids. She was an inspiration and role model to so many young girls, and the crush of all the young boys. She loved getting to work with the babies every day at her job. We called her the baby whisperer. Brecken was respectful, humble and kind hearted. She impacted so many lives and didn’t even realize it. She was a beacon of light and hope in this fallen and dark world. She was a true delight to know. She may be gone from this world, but the mark she left on all of our hearts will live on.
Funeral service will be 12 p.m., Friday, April 16 at First Baptist Church in Jenny Lind with burial at Memory Gardens at Muldrow under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
