Calvin J. Kennedy, 91, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 in Greenwood. He was a retired Primitive Baptist Minister and former pastor of Pilgrims Rest Primitive Baptist Church in Arkoma and Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church in Abbott.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 8 at Gilliam Cemetery in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday at the cemetery beginning at 9:30 a.m.
He is survived by three daughters, Janet Brown and husband, Bobby of Greenwood, Joyce Hubble and husband, Gary of Little Rock and Loyce Kennedy of Greenwood and six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Kennedy; one daughter, Deborah Kennedy; two brothers, Alvor Kennedy and Robert Kennedy and two sisters, Katherine Hill and Nan Kennedy.
Pallbearers will be Gary Hubble, Bobby Brown, Tyler Brown, Jackie Smith, Tom Kennedy, Jim Kennedy, Danny Jones, Floyd Bernett, Loyd McBride and Tommy Joe Humble.
