Carol Sue Rodgers, 80, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. She was born April 2, 1945 in Pittsburg, Kansas to the late Leslie and Alice Tackett.
Carol Sue was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose love for her family was unmatched. She is survived by her husband, Don Rodgers and her three children, Forest Maulin, Jr., Timothy Maulin and James Rodgers. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life-walking the beaches of Galveston, Texas, searching for seashells, camping, fishing and spending time on the family pontoon boat. She also loved caring for her animals and watching the birds outside the window.
Above all, Carol Sue will be remember for her enduring love and devotion to Don, who faithfully cared for her until the very end. Her kindness, strength and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
