Carroll "Marty" Norried

Carroll “Marty” Norried, 75, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 in his home. He spent years in management for various businesses and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed golfing, billiards, playing cards, and being with his family.

Marty was a one-of-a-kind. He was funny, hard-working and never met a stranger. When you saw that twinkle in his eye, you knew to beware – lighthearted mischief was likely to ensue.

He loved his family deeply – his daughter and grandkids were his world. He was the best “Paw Paw” in the whole world. His loss leaves a hole in their hearts and in the hearts of his sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer McKaskle of Conway; two sisters, Theresa Brown of Long Beach, CA and Nancy Houser and husband, Dennis of Moreno Valley, CA; sister-in-law, Maria Norried of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Kat Hartwick, Troy Jaxon McKaskle and Trey McKaskle; nieces, Alaina Rice and husband, Greg and their son, Jade, Marcie Norried and husband, Sam Plum, Jamie Norried, Kristie Sharp-Town and husband, Chris and his great nieces, Samantha and Presley Jayne and his great great nieces, Mia May, Luna Rayne, Leya Belle; nephew, Adam Norried and daughter, Olivia; and many other nieces and nephews in California, Missouri, and Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Inda Lee Mitchell and Charley Warren Norried, as well as his brothers, Johnnie Warren Norried, Donald Lee Norried and Robert David Puckett.

Celebration of life memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 11 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas. The family will visit with friends following the service.
