Charles Earl Frey, 84, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016. He retired as Chief Master Sergeant of the Arkansas National Guard 188th Tactical Fighter Group, a former state president of the Arkansas AARP and a member of the Heritage United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marian Sue Frey and brother, Larry Frey.
Graveside service will be 10:30 am Friday, November 11 at Old Jenny Lind Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
He is survived by two sons, Ricky Frey and Alan Frey and wife, Pam; two grandchildren, Cade Miller and Callie Miller and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Charlie Frey may be made to Heritage United Methodist Food Bank, 1604 E. Pointer Trail, Van Buren, AR 72956.
