Charles Parker

Charles Parker, 73, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 in his home. He was born March 30, 1950 in Monroe, Louisiana to Charles and Opal Parker. He was retired from Rheem after 29 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandy Parker; son, Tony Parker and wife, Julie of Greenwood; daughter, Natasha Strozier and husband, Jonathan of Greenwood; three brothers, Roy, John Earl and James Parker; one sister, Betty Phillips; grandchildren, Cody Parker, Britany Rackley, Shawn Parker, Jr., Tyler Buff, Katelyn Strozier, Aiden Strozier, Alex Strozier, Remington Griffith and Timberlan Griffith and his great grandchildren, Connor, Dalton and Mila Rackley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Rawls and one son, Shawn Parker.

A family led memorial service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, January 27 at Washburn United Methodist Church with inurnment at a later date at Washburn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
