Charles H. Vincent

Charles is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janette Vincent of the home and sister-in-law Claudette Bull of Dayton, Arkansas. Charles is remembered by his surviving siblings: Betty Luster, Elisabeth Yandell and husband, William, Mary Mabry, Donna Huie and husband, Dick, John Vincent and wife, Debby. His extended family included a special cousin, Jack Bull and wife, Linda and many nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Emma Vincent, sister, Rachel Oswald and brothers Carol and Lonnie.

Charles was a retired public school science teacher having graduated from the University of Arkansas. He began his career teaching at Hackett High School and then completing his career teaching all science courses at Mansfield High School. He was affectionately known as “Mr. V.” by all his students.

The funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at McConnell Funeral Chapel, Greenwood, Arkansas. Interment will follow at the Dayton Cemetery officiated by Rev. Gary Martin of the Fellowship Baptist Church, Witcherville, Arkansas.
