

Cheryl LaRue Niblett born April 16, 1953, died Friday, February 21, 2014 in her home at Sugarloaf Lake. Cheryl was a cherished mother, Nana, sister, aunt, friend and mentor. She was a free spirited woman who touched many lives during her 60 years of youthful living and will be missed by many. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Mildred Newquest and her husband, Benjamin Niblett.
She is survived by a sister, Suzell Gillooley and husband, Thomas of Midland; a brother, Foy Vance Newquest of Texas; two sons, Michael Niblett and wife, Candie of Greenwood and Salus Richardson of Hackett; a daughter, Tolisha Cass and husband, Von, Jr. of Hartford; nine grandchildren, Sunsaray Richardson, Kelsey Niblett, Mystique Cass, Mazalyn Richardson, Desarae Struble, Haly Cass, Lance Wood, Salus A.O Richardson and Brooke Martin.
Cheryl leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, many dear friends and “adopted” kids that will never forget the impact she made. From breaking shovels, canoeing down creeks, mountain picnics, sword fighting birthday parties to being a taxi for the entire sports team, Cheryl was always there for anybody and she influenced all of our lives with lessons, laughter and love. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Sugarloaf Lake Campground (the access) at approximately 3:15 p.m. Her grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers. Cheryl’s dogs, Opie, Elvis and Lolly already miss the pampering and spoiling as she loved them dearly.
