My name is Johnathan Holmes but as a kid I went by Shawn. Me and Chris have several memories I mean I went to school with him from when I was four until we graduated well I got my GED. We done everything together and spent time at each other's houses to playing football together hanging out every summer together and even summer school. until I joined the military when I was 17 I came back and got to see him again in 2006 and then again in 2010. I think the most memorable memory I have of us was when we were about 14 or 15 trying to figure out how we could use his four wheeler to ramp off the garage outside our mom's house I called her mama because she was my mom and his just like mine was his as well. I would just like to say you will always be missed brother I wish I got in to see you more I love you and I will always remember you. You have always been my brother. And he was the best man at my wedding in 2010.

I'm so sorry for such a loss , I knew only the loving and good friend  his Sister,  Miss Cynthia Willams , but my heart goes out to his wife and loved ones for such a loss, my prayers, may they give you all strenght , because I know you'll need. Miss Maria  (friend) 💞

 I pray for peace, comfort, and strength for Chris's family. 

I will never forget us in our Chevy trucks in 2004.  We were trouble makers for sure!  Running up and down Kathy way spinning tires and racing down the hill behind my house.  I would get stuck everytime and Chris would hook up a strap and pull me back up the hill.  He taught me how to change my starter and my flywheel and a few other things.  I remember him giving me so much crap when I sold out for a Ford.  I know he would do the same today because I married a Ford guy!  We have memories of school, partying, and just hanging out all hours of the night when we knew we had school the next day.  The last time I saw Chris, he hugged me like a brother would and talked on and on about his wife and his baby girls.  He was proud and that made me happy!  He will be forever loved and missed dearly.  

I  so devasted I thought our kids are suppose to be here forever, u weren't suppose to leave this world , u had so much going for you.  I just talked toou on FB them that call came.  I love you very much nephew.  Rip 

I'm very sorry to hear of Chris' passing. Though it was along time ago I still Consider him as family. As well as Terri, Ray and Chynthia. You are in my prayers. I really wish I could be there for you guys but I couldn't make it work with the travel and distance. Sending love from Iowa. 

First time I ever saw Chris was at Sebastian County EMS station. Becky was carrying Chris and holding Cynthia's hand.  I just happened to drive by as she was waiting to be let in. Turned out she was looking for me to teach an EMT-Intermediat class for Logan County. 2nd meeting was, at the station, after hiding behind a telephone pole so she wouldn't run over me with her brown Ford pickup, now she denies this last part, no class but a hell of a wife and 2 great kids.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Anna Williams; daughters, Lyndsie and Paige of Midland and Zailey and Liberty of Fort Smith; his parents, Terri Peterson and husband, Kenny of Huntington and Roy Champion Jay, Jr. of Sterling, Oklahoma; his grandmother, Peggy McNeil of Magazine; brother, Ray Newman and wife, Tabitha of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters, Chynthia Williams of Oklahoma and Natasha Hice and husband, Colby of Fort Smith and a host of brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.
