

Curtis “Benny” Thompson, 77 of Huntington, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a rancher and cattleman, an Air National Guard veteran, a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, member of Arkansas Valley Electric Co-op nominating board and past member of the FSA Board.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27th at the Fellowship Baptist Church with burial at Clarks Chapel Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas.
Viewing will be Tuesday from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends 6-8 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Roger Thompson and wife Tammy of Mansfield, Steve Thompson and wife Jacqueline of Springdale.; two daughters, Kendra Dewey and husband Tom of Lavaca, Susan Thompson of Witcherville; one sister Rama Jane Martin of Greenwood; nine grandchildren, Jason, Chad, Zachary, Tanner, and Blake Thompson, Tyler, Sterling, and Canyon Dewey, Hannah Tate, and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
