Curtis Edward Thompson, 90, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, veteran of the Vietnam War and member of Westside Pentecostal Church in Huntington.

Viewing will be 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday at McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. The family will have a private funeral service at the U.S. National Cemetery.

He is survived by two sons, Donald Edward Thompson of Chico, CA and Jerry Edward Thompson of Knoxville, AR; one daughter, Linda Gail Sears of Fort Smith; one brother, Alvin Jerry Thompson of Harding, Kentucky; one sister, Alma Hopkins of Benton, Kentucky; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, #1 Children’s Way, Slot 661, Little Rock, AR 72202-3591.
