Cynthia Campbell

Cynthia Campbell, lovingly known as Cindy, was born on January 19, 1955, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on July 22, 2026, at the age of 70. Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 30 years, Troy Michael Campbell and her father, Robert Gene Boswell.

She is survived by her mother, Martha Boswell; her daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Paul Graves; grandsons, William and James Graves; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Carla Boswell; sisters, Barbara Boswell and Kim Gegner, and brother, Sean Leuenberger. She is also survived by her extended Boswell and Campbell families, along with many dear friends whose lives she touched through her kindness, faith, and generosity.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Cindy graduated from Waukesha South High School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1980, where she received her teaching certification in Special Education.

Cindy had a servant’s heart and a lifelong passion for helping children. She began her career in education, completing student and teaching and working with children of varying abilities in elementary classrooms and church ministries. Later, she brought that same compassion and dedication to positions in retail management at The Boston Store, preschool education at La Petite Academy, and Hall’s Department Store in Kansas City. Whatever role she held, Cindy was known for her warmth, patience, strong work ethic, and genuine care for others.

Her Christian faith was the foundation of her life. She loved serving her church, singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, and encouraging those around her through quiet acts of kindness. She lived her faith not only through words, but through a life devoted to serving family, friends, neighbors, and her community.

Cindy especially cherished being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She delighted in spending time with Willian and James, celebrating family milestones, and creating a welcoming home filled with love and unwavering support. Together, Cindy and Troy built a life centered on faith, family, and service. Their marriage reflected a shared commitment to caring for others, opening their home to friends and neighbors, and living lives that honored Christ.

Those who knew Cindy will remember her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and quiet strength. She possessed a rare ability to make others feel valued and loved. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she influenced through her kindness and in the family she treasured above all else.
