To Danny’s wife and family, I know we did not ever get a chance to meet in life but Danny was one of my closest cousins growing up.. he Donny and John and Charlene and Charles Gilbert were my closest cousins Growing up and they were always dear to my heart.. we shared many good times together in hope Arkansas when I would come up and visit.. Danny was always keeping us laughing and was such a good and kind gentle soul!!! I know we all miss his presence here with us but we will all reunite again in Gods house with him when our time comes.. may my dear cousin Rest In Peace...

I only knew Mr. Kennedy through a business relationship, but the first time I met him I knew he loved the Lord.  He would always say "the Lord willing" when he would talk about retiring.    I think about him when I say I'm making plans to retire.   I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing, but know he got a better deal than retirement.  I'm sure he is walking the streets of gold and making
people smile.  May God bless his family and friends.  I know a lot of people will miss him.


Very sorry to learn of his passing. He married my wife and I 15 years ago. He was a good man.

The staff at the Greenwood Vet Clinic are very saddened over Daniels passing. He was one those clients whom everyone knew well and we knew who was on the phone just from his voice.  He genuinely loved his pets always wanting  what was best for them.  We will miss him.  

i knew Dan Kennedy in Waynesville High School. Both of us wore thick black frame glasses and coke bottled lenses and dark hair.  How can I describe Dan except through his nickname of "Dangerous Dan." 
We were both in sports together from cross country to wrestling. We were young, thin, wiry and " good looking." Dan was a force to be reckoned with because he had stamina and endurance of  the Energized Bunny. 
Dan had true grit as I saw him accomplished many difficult challenges in Cross Country as he passed smelly pig farms, wild dogs chasing us on country road and making it to the truck. If you missed the truck, then you walked the rest of the way to the High School.
In wrestling, I saw Dan drop a lot of weight to wrestle in in 119 to 105 lbs classes. We were not local high school legends who made or broke school records.
We were the the above average to average guys doing our best to make the teams.  Which Dan did.
To capture Dan's determination in  athletics and school , Dan showed he had an iron will and  strength in him to succeed whether he was calm and or stubborn.  He walked tall...and now he walks tall forever. 

I could always count on Daniel to greet me with a smile, handshake, and a “glad to see you”.  He will truly be missed.  

I loved walking into Church an seeing Daniel! He had such a kind heart! He would always say Hello Natasha! His smile would always make my bad days into happy Days! I’m so thankful that even though it was through church he was apart of my families life!! I loved his faithfulness To Christ! He was such a good man!!! He will be greatly missed!! 

Daniel was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known. His passion for Jesus and sharing the Gospel was and is such an inspiration.  He will be greatly missed. 

Daniel was a very kind person. Your family has my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. He will be dearly missed.

Daniel will truly be missed by all, we will miss his smiling face every Sunday morning. 

Daniel will be greatly missed.  Daniel loved the Lord and he loved the church.  Everyone that knew him knew that about him as the Lord’s light did shine through him.  Daniel was a hard working man even in the heat of the summer on the “furnace”.  But he never let that stop him from ever entering the church every time the doors opened.   Daniel, I know you are rejoicing now in heaven with Jesus with your new body.  You will be missed but we look forward to seeing you again.

I came forward to join the church , and Daniel was right there to tell me welcome and I got to know him better , he had such a wonderful since of humor! And was a real shining example for us all ! God got a wonderful angel ! 

My deepest sympathies for Linda and family.  He always had a smile on his face. Such a sweet man especially when Alex was sick.

Daniel always welcomed us and everyone at our church with the firmest handshake and biggest smile. He loved Jesus and his life reflected that. He wanted everyone he came in contact with to know about Jesus. A mighty prayer warrior! He was loved by so many! Sending prayers for Linda and all of Daniel's children and grandchildren.

My dear brother Daniel. I knew I could always count on him no matter when to come running if I needed him.  He might not know what to do, but I knew he would be there to stand & fight with us to the death. I will miss you SO much, you cannot be replaced. There will be much hugs & rejoicing when we see you again in Heaven.

Daniel was a great man. So many memories growing up staying the night with Tember! Love his passion for Jesus, his family and friends. Can't imagine the glow in his face when he meets Jesus. Prayers for peace and comfort for all of you during this time.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Hope, Tember and Ethan; his eleven grandchildren; one great- grandchild; his father, Verdon Kennedy; brothers, Don and John Kennedy and his good friend, Gary Martin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Jean Kennedy.
