Danny L. Griffin

Danny L. Griffin, 60, of Greenwood, AR passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired truck driver, a U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and member of the Greenwood First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Fay and Marjorie Griffin.

Funeral service will be 10 am Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Monday from 1 – 9 pm at the funeral home, where family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 pm.

He is survived by his wife, Lesa Griffin; one daughter, Dannene Young and her husband, Jeremy of Greenwood; one son, Brian Griffin and his wife, Rachel of Vilonia; one sister, Linda Griffin of Van Buren; three grandchildren, Preston and Makynlee Young and B.J. Griffin.

Pallbearers will be Wade Conley, David Hughart, Jim Hughart, Nate James, Mike McAlister and Phil Jones.
