David Erickson Jarnagin of Huntington, Arkansas passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2021 at the age of 65. David was born on March 23, 1955 to father, Earl and mother, Anna. He was the only boy out of a bunch of girls. David was an outstanding high school athlete in Muldrow, Oklahoma, where he graduated. He was a long time member of the production team at Stephens Production Company in Fort Smith. He loved riding the trails with his first love, Betty, by his side. Being surrounded by family and friends was what he enjoyed and following the Oklahoma Sooners. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the oil and gas industry and the America he grew up in.
David was preceded in death by parents and oldest son, Eric Jarnagin, Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife of 31 years, Betty Jarnagin; son, Kyle Jarnagin and wife, April; daughter, Jennifer Mellon and husband, Sean; grandchildren, Lily Jarnagin, Riley Shea, Eva Jarnagin, Jackson Jarnagin and Amelia Taff and sisters, Linda Lusti, Bethany Polecat, Karen Jarnagin and Collyn Shelton.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Monday, March 15 at Grace Fellowship Church in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
