Dencie Rogers

Dencie Rogers, 96, of Greenwood, died Monday, March 4, 2013 in Greenwood. He was born August 1, 1916. He was retired from Garrison Furniture, and was preceded in death by his wife of seventy years, Ollie Rogers.

Survivors include two sons, Eugene Rogers and wife, Belva , Carl Rogers and wife, Mary Sue, all of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Rhonda Black and husband, Jackie, Randall Rogers and wife, Stacey, Carla Pittman and husband, Randy, Sherry Cleavenger and husband, Gary, and Erin Cole and husband Chris; ten great-grandchildren, Jantzen Black, Chelsea Black, Lindsay Pittman, Jordan Cleavenger, Kylie Cleavenger, Brennan Rogers, Brock Rogers, Nikki Howes, Jaxon Cole, and Laykin Cole; one great great grandchild, Xzavier Howes..

Services will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Washburn United Methodist Church with burial at Washburn Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Chris Cole, Gary Cleavenger, Randy Pittman, Randall Rogers, Jackie Black, Allen Woods and Roger Woods.
