Dennis McCartney, 68, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a meat cutter at CV’s IGA in Greenwood and member of the Washburn Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, February 27 at Washburn Methodist Church with burial at Washburn Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 2 – 7 p.m., Sunday at Chateau on the Greens, 10560 S. Hwy. 96, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Lynne McCartney; two sons, Ben McCartney of Greenwood and Travis McCartney of Hackett; two daughters, Michelle Colvin and Becky McCartney both of Greenwood and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Danny Scharbor, Larry Price, James Colvin, Bailey McCartney, Tommy Riggin and Bob Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren.
