Donna was born on October 9, 1939 to the parents of Ruby and Orva Roe in Fort Smith, Arkansas. After Donna graduated from Greenwood High School in 1957, she went on to study and graduated with her cosmetology license from the Beauty school in Fort Smith. She then went to work Beall Ladymon.
In 1958, Donna met Ronald at Milltown General Store. Donna and Ronald went on to have two children, Arlene Renee Oliver (Mike) and Mark Allen Cochran (Toni). Donna was blessed with four grandchildren, Phillip Yerton (Hillary), Ashley Misner (Mark) and Hudson and Anna Cochran and four great grandchildren, Soren, Coral, Koy and Ruby.
Donna had a magical green-thumb, especially pansies. She loved baking, crocheting and quilting for the ones close to her. She loved most of all going to the United Methodist Church. Donna served the community by running the election polls in Milltown, donating time at "Our Daily Bread" Methodist Shelter in Hackett, Arkansas and serving as a Sunday school teacher at the Milltown United Methodist Church.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Orva and Ruby Roe, her brother Stan Roe and her husband, Ronald Cochran.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, February 12 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown. Viewing will be Friday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pallbearers are Hudson Cochran, Kevin Cochran, Lynn Cabe, Phillip Yerton, Mark Misner, Josh Oliver, Caleb Nichols and Tony Roe.
