Doris Elaine Barney, 89, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker and member of Greenwood First Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Larry Corkern and wife, Linda of Fort Smith, Barry Corkern and wife, Jan of Little Rock, Arkansas and Steve Corkern and wife, Terry of Huntsville, Arkansas; one daughter, Toni Valle and husband, Mark of Oceanside, California; one sister, Vena White and husband, Ron of Walnut Creek, California; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Barney.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Arkansas.
