Earl Edward Bruce

Earl Edward Bruce, 89, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 in Fort Smith surrounded by his loving family. Earl was born February 27, 1935 in Midland, Arkansas to Claudis and Clara (Jaklitch) Bruce. He was retired from Colonial Baking Company and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He is survived by one son, Randall Bruce and wife, Karen of Broken Arrow; one daughter, Stephanie Stinebaugh and husband, Jim of Huntington; one sister, Sue McCafferty of Bella Vista; five grandchildren, Kara Williams and husband, Chance, Lydia Grace Stinebaugh, Lauren Laughlin and husband, Wes, Alec Bruce and Claire Bruce; eight great grandchildren, Price, Bryan, Phoebe, Parker, Preston and Paxton Williams and Juliet and Corinne Laughlin and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leona and a brother, Joe Bruce.

The family will have a private memorial service. Cremation is under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
