Edward Ward Chaney Sr.

Edward Ward Chaney, Sr., 82, of Huntington , Arkansas passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired truck driver and an Army veteran of World War II. He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrie Helen Chaney and one daughter, Lola Faye Boldin.

Funeral service will be 2 pm Saturday, December 11 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood . Viewing will be Friday from 1 – 9 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 pm.

He is survived by three sons, Edward Chaney, Jr. of Van Buren, Lee Chaney of Spiro, OK and Lonnie Chaney of Short, OK; six daughters, Diane Newman of Wichita, KS, Telitha Irby of Alma, Sadie Goodner of Dadeville, AL, Johnnie Cadle of Albany, LA, Darlene Neumeier of Greenwood and Donna Skinner of Huntington; two brothers, John Chaney of Murfreesboro, TN and William Bud Chaney of Huntington; five sisters, Jean Dickerson of Ocala, FL, Ann Deeds, Joyce Chaney and Susie Argo all of Lepanto, AR and Elizabeth Berry of Sulphur, LA; twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
