Ella Mae Hodge, 83 of Bonanza, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, Sept 16, 2014 in Fort Smith. She was retired from Trane Heating and Air, a Bonanza City Alderman for twenty years, and a member of Evangel Temple.
Ella was preceded in death by her husband Jennings Hodge and son Joe Hodge.
Ella was survived by son, Terry Hodge of Bonanza; daughter, Audrey Short of Greenwood; three brothers, John Phillips of Roytown, Missouri, Tommy Duckworth of Canton, Texas, and Charles Phillips of Greenwood; three sisters, Kathy Goldsmith of Hackett, Faye Rauser of Hackett, and Betty Ann of Texas; six grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at Bonanza Assembly of God with burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood, Arkansas. Viewing will be Thursday 2-8 at the funeral home, where family will visit with friends from 6-8 pm.
