Ellen Sweeten

Ellen Sweeten, 85, died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at her home in Hackett, Arkansas. She was born July 25, 1926 in Yell County and was a member of the Rock Island Full Gospel Church. Ellen was retired from the Hackett Public Schools and is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Sweeten, a son, Bo Sweeten, a granddaughter, Donna Buechley, and a great grandson Austin Wilkerson.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A. M., Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the Rock Island Full Gospel Church with interment at Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

Survivors include five children, Ruth Langwell and husband, Wadene, of Hackett, Jessie Weaver and husband, James, of Lavaca, AR, Shorty Sweeten of Midland, AR, Linda Wilkerson of Bonanza, AR, and Jimmy Sweeten of Hackett; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

Viewing will be Tuesday, November 29th from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Dale Langwell, Mark Langwell, Michael Sweeten, Cory Sweeten, Clinton Wilkerson, and Frankie Wilkerson.
