Elmer L. Vincent, 86, of Roland, Oklahoma departed this life on Friday, October 20, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born January 4, 1931 in Midland, Arkansas. He was retired from Wortz Crackers and of the Christian faith.
Graveside service honoring and remember his life will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 25 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Tuesday from 2 – 7 p.m. at Chateau on the Greens on Hwy. 96 in Greenwood, where the family will visit with friends from 4 – 6 p.m.
He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Grizzle and husband, Ron of Nevada and Cathy Cantrell and husband, Mike of Roland; one son, Steven Vincent and wife, Brenda of Roland; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Elmer was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Helen Marie Chastain Vincent and one daughter, Linda Bicknell.
