Emma Jean Masker Walker left her earthly home at the age of 85 on July 22, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born in Okemah, Oklahoma on December 2, 1935. Jean loved the Lord, was a talented artist, a collector of antiques, a floral designer and enjoyed cheering on the Bulldogs and the Razorbacks!
She was known by many and enjoyed the special titles she wore as Mom, Grandma Jean, Aunt Jean, or just Jeannie!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Emma Viola Masker; her husband, Art Walker; her siblings, Clint Masker, Dwayne Masker, Ruby Harwood and Ruth Martin.
She is survived by her sons, Don Wilson and wife, Suzy of Greenwood and David Wilson and wife, Kristen of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and her grandchildren, Tyler Wilson of Little Rock Arkansas, Allie Wilson Deacon and husband, Adam of Little Rock, Ethan Wilson and Jenna Wilson of Winston - Salem North Carolina. She was also blessed with a great grandson, Davis James Deacon of Little Rock.
Jean lived her life simply, but happily.. She enjoyed creating things and sharing her creations with those she loved. She talked often about her artwork, holiday decorating, her family, and God.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on October 22, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
