Heaven gained an angel on February 17, 2016, Evelyn Myra Kruizenga went home at the age of 82. She was the most caring and loving person you could ever meet. Anytime you would see her she always had a smile and encouraging word. When she found out she had pancreatic cancer she said it is ok, God will take care of me. She never lost hope of that, and God did take care of her. Now she has a new body, because God gave her the miracle of healing. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Kruizenga, who she loved very much and talked about often.
She is survived by three wonderful daughters, Patsy Taylor and husband, Gary of Excelsior Springs, MO, Linda Taylor and husband, Todd of San Ramon, CA and Pauline Thompson of Hemet, CA. She also had two wonderful sons, Jerry Kruizenga and wife, Penny and Bruce Kruizenga and wife, Lessa, both of Greenwood, AR. She had eleven grandkids and fifteen great grandkids.
Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
