Gail McConnell Hyde, 75, of Greenwood passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in Greenwood. She was retired from J.C. Penny and teaching in the Jenny Lind schools. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ, past chairman of South Sebastian County Heart Association, past Girl Scout Leader, 4-H leader, an avid Greenwood Bulldog and Arkansas Razorback fan and enjoyed watching her nephews and great-nephew play for the Razorbacks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Emma McConnell.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Monday, November 22, 2010 at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by three daughters, Cindy Bedwell and husband, Ronnie of Pocola, Susan Hyde of Fort Smith and Sarah Rose of Fort Smith; one sister, Nan Bequette of Missouri; five grandchildren, Joanie Henry, Matt Moser, Eric Bedwell, Joe Rose and Mary Jo Rose; one great grandchild, Lauren Henry and several cousins.
