Garlan Lee Foote

Garlan Lee Foote, 81, of Greenwood, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 18, 2022. He was born in Runnells, Iowa on September 23, 1940 to Virgil and Merna Foote. He was a trucker, farmer, loving husband, great father and member of Hackett First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy Foote; three children, Gaylan Foote and wife, Lisa of Greenwood, Jody Burris and husband, Eric of Barling and Galvin Foote and wife, Teresa of Greenwood; one sister, Arlis Fettig and husband, Jerry of Glenwood, Minnesota; nine grandchildren, Kila Meador, Kenda McGee, Cameron Foote, Chans Foote, Cody Parker, Chyler Beasley, Britany Rackley, Jayden Foote, Gabby Foote; nine great grandchildren and many friends and other family members. He was preceded in death by one brother, Merlin Foote and three sisters, Betty Foote, Joann Landon and Donna Foote.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 23 at Hackett First Baptist Church with burial at Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Tuesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Darrin Miller, Brad Miller, Eric Burris, Cameron Foote, Chans Foote, Josh Rackley, Chris Beasley and Cody Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Miller, Tony Parker, Christian Palmer and Billy Hopper.
