

Gaylon Dean Wiseman, Sr., 55 of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 in his home. He was retired from Planters and was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. He loved the Razorbacks, Nascar and cheering on #18 car, Kyle Bush and loved being outdoors. He was a 1978 graduate of Southside High School.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends form 5 – 7 p.m.
He is survived by his father, Larry Vernon Wiseman and wife, Jeannie of Olney, IL; two sons, Gaylon Wiseman, Jr. and fiancée, Christie Dalton of Greenwood and Dillon Wiseman, Airman First Class of Mulberry, currently stationed at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan; one daughter, Trisha Smith and husband, Josh of Greenwood; one brother, Tim Wiseman and wife, Tammie of Visalia, CA; one sister, Terri Alverson and husband, Duane of Greenwood; grandchildren, Cambreigh Smith, Caden Smith, Colton Smith and Averie Driscoll and Lanie Driscoll; nieces and nephews, Kacey Wiseman, Felecia Alverson, Jon Wiseman and Anthony Alverson and man’s best friend, Bailey. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Jean Wiseman.
Pallbearers will be Gaylon Wiseman, Jr., Dillon Wiseman, Tim Wiseman, Josh Smith, Duane Alverson, Bobby Tucker and Billy Tucker.
