Geneva Mitchell, 81, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a member of Greenwood First Assembly of God Church and a retired clerk at Farmer’s Store.
She is survived by two sons, Johnny Mitchell of Greenwood and Larry Mitchell of Fort Smith; one daughter, Deborah Bivens of Greenwood; one brother, Floyd Gattis of Greenwood; four sisters, Irene Pawlicki of Barling, Patsy Holcomb of Greenwood, Ethel Crockett of Fort Smith and Sharon Clark of Fort Smith; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Monday, October 14, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Greenwood First Assembly of God Church with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be Sunday from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home, where family will visit with friends from 1-3 p.m.
