I personally did not know George but my grandfather worked next to at Becraft Glass Factoty on 15 th street and The Marigold Glass Plant with OC I know he was meticulous n laying his frit for my grandfather seen in a video from that era and he was very handsome. I am writing a memoir for my grandfather this is how I learned of him and his journey in life working  next to Alvin Becraft. I know he owned a glass shop and could blow glass very well. I had a dream of him and my grandfather and  OC they were In Heaven and their was a little girl flying next to him she had pink snd white angel wings she was blonde and had a beautiful smile around 10 ish she guided me over to help tie a rope on a cross so they could light my dream up but the rope was too heavy  for me , remember this is a dream anyways my grandfather grabbed the rope and threw it to George a hundred hummingbird flying every drinking from sunflowers which were every where and when the cross finally stood up it literally lite up so bright and stars flew every where her and George picked them up and placed them in the sky themselves then they both disappeared there is more  to the Dream but this seemed significant because I did not know he had a daughter that passed away how beautiful this is now that I know the story. Leann Beaumonte Alvin Becraft granddaughter May God Bless all of you and my prayers go out to all of the family , he seemed very special as she did too. I think they were saying they were ok I am not sure why my dream yet anyways . 

I have too many memories of Uncle George to leave only 1.  My favorite childhood memories are of him and spending time with him and Aunt DeAtha and LaBetha.  I always looked forward to summer just so that we could go see everyone.  Uncle George was always so funny and happy and bubbly.  You couldn't help but be happy when you were around him.
I know I haven't gotten to spend time with him in many years, but he is and always will be special to me.   He will be greatly missed.  I'm so glad I got to talk to him on his 89th Birthday.
Just think, he's getting to hold his little girl, LaBetha, again.

George was one of the most decent and kind souls. He was a role model we were all fortunate to have. Driving that bus while dealing with the insanity that came with it was not an easy job, but one he did well. He had patience of a saint. 

Great memories of such a humble and pleasant man, my sincere condolences to this Family. May God give you comfort and strength.

Mr Werschky was such a respectable friendly man always gave you a smile when entering his bus. My deepest condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear about George. prayers for the family.  Joe and Jolene Couch.

George was always so kind and friendly to Mike and I when we would see him.  We will miss his smiling face.  Our prayers are with all of you during this time.

Mr. Werschky is survived by his wife, DeEatha Werschky; one son, Richard Werschky of Fort Smith; one daughter, Trish Glaser of Pocola; one brother, Carl Werschky of Rock Island; one sister, Marie Bartlett of Fort Smith; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Labetha Werschky.
