What a nice man he was! Trish and I are honored to have met him on one of our visits to Arkansas. We were so impressed with his very friendly nature, as if he had known us for years! Patti & Harold...and all of you...we are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a wonderful man and we are so lucky to have met him! He will always be in our prayers. We send our love. God Bless. Tom & Trish of Maine. (And from one Airman to another, I salute you, Grady, Sir!)

I feel strange referring to Grady Gann in the past tense as I'm sure that right now he and my father, Hubert Curry, who worked together for years at Fort Chaffee, are trading jokes. I recall Dad telling me of one practical joke that Grady played on his fellow technicians at the Fort Chaffee refrigeration and air conditioning shop that I will not describe here but will only say was one of the most inspired bits of humor I've ever heard, one that Dad certainly appreciated though he was one of the guys the prank was played on. It was always a pleasure being around Grady Gann senior, and I remember him well though it has been going on a third of a century since I last saw him.
