Grady C. Gann, Sr., 81, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was a retired federal employee at Fort Chaffee, member of the Greenwood Volunteer Department, Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and Harris-Hannah VFW Post #6527 and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Gann of Greenwood; four sons, Harold W. Smith and wife, Patti of Greenwood, Don A. Smith and wife, Gretchen of Greenwood, Terry D. Smith and wife, Ronda of Fort Smith and Grady C. Gann, Jr. of Greenwood; one sister, Myra Belrose and husband, Jerry Don of Hackett; five grandsons, Harold Wayne III, Bryan, Travis, Josh and Jason Smith and ten great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Coleman, Kate, Carley, Claire, Lexi, Avary, Cambreigh, Caden Smith, Adysen Kelley, and one more due in August.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Oak Valley Cemetery. Viewing will be 1-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Bryan, Travis, Josh, Jason and Coleman Smith, and Adysen Kelley.
